Welcome to Guitar Lessons Reading
I'm Darren Logue, a guitar teacher based in East Reading. I have been playing the guitar for twenty odds years and teaching for eight. I have a large amount of experience teaching beginners right through to extremely advanced students.
I have played on tracks featuring artists such as So Solid Crew/Estelle which have been played on Radio One etc. I have also been in the studio with artists such as Newton faulkner, Natalie Imbruglia, Doves, Duran Duran etc
Guitar Style
I teach most styles and levels, and beginners are welcome. I specialise in rock, pop, indie music, fingerstyle and classical guitar. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar. I am registered as a guitar tutor with the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT). References are available on request.
All lessons are on a private one-to-one basis.. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student. I try to split each lesson between what you waqnt to learn and what you need to learn. I ensure that students are competent in the basics, before moving on to learn the repertoire and tailor the course toward your goals as a musician - what do you want to achieve?
Free First Lesson
If you'd like to arrange a lesson its a simple matter of getting in contact with me and setting up a time that works well for both of us. Your first lesson is totally free so you can decide if i'm the right teacher for you. We can have a chat and work out your goals (just for fun, play in a band, be a rockstar! etc) and work out how we are going to get you there as quickly as possible
